Hi everybody.
First of all - great to find this page!
Now, I just got my 1999 240 Sundancer, bought it in Mystic US and shipped it to Stockholm Sweden.
unfourtunately, the canvas(mooring set and camper top) got lost during transport overseas.
Anyone knows a good place to have a new set made? No dealers in Sweden or Scandinavia and cusom making is very expensive.

Greatful for any advices.

I just used Great Lakes for my boat canvas too. They are a great company to work with. Very nice people with great service.

Thanks guys - just placed an order at great lakes! Have the hardware so shipping not so bad actually!

Hi Rikard,

I would like to hear your experience about importing a boat to Scandinavia:

1. How much did the transportation cost?
2. Where did you get the Ce-marking and how much was it?
3. Was the boat surveyd?
4. Are you happy with the boat?

I live in Helsinki, Finland and my boat is a Yamarin 58Br with a Yamaha 150 Vmax. I will sell it in the near future so that I can buy a Sea Ray 240/260 Sundancer.

I have been reading SRO and CSR for a long time so I thought that it was now the right time to register because I would like to have some information about importing a boat.

Ps. Jag kan också svenska

KeKe,

Welcome to the board!!! You will want to post your boat information in the signature (make, model, motor, etc). You may also want to go to the who's who section and introduce yourself.
Again welcome to CSR!!!

As for your question you should start a new post with these questions. Couple of reasons, one you will get more responses, the search feature will be more beneficial, and because without is considered hi-jacking a thread.

Thanks

Wesley

Thank you Wesley :smt001 I sent a private message to Mr.Digger so you can delete my reply (for some reason I cannot do it myself because I do not get the option: "Delete this post"). I will post information of my boat albeit it´s not a Sea Ray. I will also introduce myself in the who´s who section.
