New boat survey from Sea Ray

I filled mine out after struggling through a short but frustrating punch list. If your new boat punch list gets resolved quickly, good review. If your punch list becomes a p.i.t.a., then the survey scores take a dive.

A lot must be at stake (margins) to ask a customer for a good score... :smt017

Brian,
I got a call from the OWNER... I explained my issues... ( unresolved pounch list , damage done to the boat when it was in for service , Serivce writer indifference and lack of communication skills etc ) He never apologized . He Felt that if I had issues I should have come to him. I told him I went to the service manager who said he would resolve it ... he didnt and the question aire came ... I figured the questionaire would ring the bell. It did and then some ... Punch list was never completed ........

The down side was people with crappy attitudes there still had crappy attitudes ... Got few thanx for screwing us from the peanut gallery... apparently they did so poorly on the CSI score they're searay labor warrty labor rate took a hit . So when u fill it out ... it does become public knowledge ... but who cares... u paid for the boat u want the serivce ... I have no problem being honest with people... no sugar coat required. The Old timers understand and know the score... they took care of me as I did them...

fast forward a few years and another boat ... completely different experience. Also helped the boat had no where near the issues as the 34 . But searay and the dealer were awesome ... not timely but awesome... even after the warrty period expired they stepped up and did some expensive repairs... so im very happy.... all the credit goes to the serivce writer... great guy...

Moral Bryan.. if ur quite they will step all over u ...
