Welcome! You will like the 260.
Is this your very first boat? I got my 260DA 2 years ago, my first boat, so I will be following your thread to see all the comments and suggestions.

This is my second boat but I am coming from a 195 Stingray to the 260. So I hope to be a quick learner. Also guys I went today and check if the head and faucets were working but they did not. I did not get a little intro to the boat so I have to figure everything out. Any advice in how to get everything ready or what steps to take. I started to read the manuals but it is to much info to digest at once....thanks again!!

My 250 has a switch on the dash that says water system to turn the power on to the pump. yours may have as well.

+1 on the dash mounted water system switch. And Welcome to CSR, you will have alot of info sent your way from the very knowlegable (not me) folks here at Club Sea Ray, not to mention that they are a friendly bunch too. Enjoy and Good Luck with your new boat.

On your breaker panel make sure your Water system and head system are turned on. On the newer SR's these are two switches. Also, make sure you have water in your holding tank and use a fresh water freshener or else your water will smell funny after about a day.

If you ever venture up the Potomac let us know!

Thank you... Most likely this Saturday I will head up that way towards DC.

So I had been looking for environmental friendly soap to wash the boat and put it to my standards. Anyone has a suggestions as to what products are out there and feedback.

Marine 31 is great. It has wax right in the concentrate. It's environmentally friendly and it lasts. A little goes a long way. I use the boat wax as well and my gel coat looks awesome! marine31.com

Congrats!

Fair winds and Following Seas Capt

So, I got my boat ready and detailed the way I wanted but have a concern. The flooring on my boat sucks and it is hard to keep it clean. Any suggestion on those synthetic flooring or issues with them. I don't like the carpet and want to see if I can change them.

Welcome aboard

On my 240 I didn't have carpet and hated it. The surface was tough to keep clean and got very hot in the summer. In my 350 I have new carpet and love it. At first I was hesitant about carpet, but it he held up well and is comfortable. I also like synthetic teak. A guy at my marina is putting it in his now. It's taken him a few weekends, but it looks great.

By the way, if you're thinking of coming up to DC might I suggest next weekend for Memorial Day weekend! This weekend the river is very high, full of debris and the flood gates are up in Georgetown, so docking there isn't advised.
