New 30 in CT

ok heres the trick. approach from the south and head directly for the large white state park sign. come off plane and come close to the beach, turn starboard to come in,you are now parallel with the rock jetty, the water is closer to the beach. follow around and as you see the hole, favor the port side watching a little spit of sand on the port, drift too far to starboard(even though it looks like lots of water) and find yourself in mud. going out same thing, hug the shore, it falls off sharply, plenty of water. Do you know how many boaters dont know the jetty is there(at high tide).

Can anyone tie up to the moorings on the West side of Port Jeff??
Thanks
Chris

All of the moorings are private. You may not legally use them unless you have written permission from the owner.

Lots of people use them anyway and I don't think the harbor master will force you off, but it's embarrassing and a pain to have to move when the owner shows up.
