Need to regulate 12vdc for my router

You can get regulated DC to DC power supplies, we have access here to two different units that both have 9 - 32V input, however I think the output is 12,8v, will check when I get in, as I have a unit on one of the sales desks.

They would provide a stable voltage, which is probably more of the issue, as your voltage supply from the battery could very easily be fluctuating a couple or more volts, when load is applied, battery discharging, battery charging, charge spikes etc

You should be able to find something like these over there., basically search for 12V Stabiliser or Conditioner. This unit has a low setting of regulated 12.5V

I know you already bought a router, but Active Captain suggests this. It has variable voltage. It can handle highs and lows.

Mike, the problem with that router is the output is 24vdc from the ac adaptor, which means I can't supply 24vdc to the router without the adaptor so I might as well just use the invertor to power the router I have.
