Steve, I'm running Navionics on the pad , just before i departed Newport i hit the "track" button and didnt touch it for two days.as a matter of fact i forgot and it was tracking our truck all over long islamd for a day while it was in my ditch bag.so my route was all over the. Place!!!! The only thing i noticed was if you zoom in or out you have to hit the "gps" button to find the ship again . Are you running a nav app?
Joe,Obviously your gps isnt working , im assuming its 3g/ wifi? Will it find you using google maps?

Steve, you have two perfectly operational MFDs. Did you need this new headache?...JK my friend. Those toys, they always keep us busy, don't they?
Steve look into adding badelf for ipad i think it may help you .
I use the navionics app and my iPad as my sole GPS since I don't have one installed on my boat. My iPad is the wifi model only as well. Here is what I use and it works great! I have even tested this navigating in the car and in the airplane and both work great!

M&M,
Thanks for the info... How difficult is it to set up? I'm assuming it uses bluetooth. After the initial setup, is it as simple as turning it on?
