Need dry weight of 2004 Sundancer 280 with twins

Lots of conflicting information online...Need DRY weight of 2004 Sundancer 280 with twins (Mercruiser 5.0 MPI).
Generator, AC, 3 batteries.
For lift purposes.

Are you sure you want dry weight? That really doesn't exist in the real world after a boat leaves the factory. (some would say the dry weight doesn't even include batteries)

I can add in those weights for batteries, genset, etc. I'm mainly trying to figure out if the posted weight includes both engines?

NADA says the 2 engine configuration dry weight is 8500 lb. I would go with a 10000 lb. lift.

In the 2004 models, I don't think they had come out with the single 496 in that boat yet. I would say, yes it includes both engines...either 4.3s or 5.0s....

Fully agree for a loaded weight! I had a '06 260DA with gen and it weighed 11,200 on the scales.

8,500# does not include both engines. That weight is for the single 496 B3.

I have a 2001 280DA with twin V6’s, 3 batteries, and a generator. A while back I took the time and did some math to figure what you are looking for. I looked up the weights of each major component. Below is what I got:
Weight Calcs:
Boat dry 8500
Add one motor 900
Add generator 250
Add 3 batt 180
Add fuel 600
Add water 340
Add misc 150
Total 10,920
