Need a new filler cushion for cockpit on a 2008 44 Sundancer

Hello, I'm very excited to have just purchased a 2008 44 Sundancer and it's missing the cushion in the cockpit that is removable to allow entry onto the boat from the starboard side. Sea Ray no longer makes them so if any of you know of a good company who could make or replace one please let me know.(I have the khaki/beige piping on mine, not navy)

Congrats! Lets see some pictures of your new baby (and its customary to break out cigars, btw). Bad news on the cushion...or sort of bad news. There simply isn't any way to get New Old Stock on this stuff. Sometimes Flouder Pounder will have something, but rarely. The good news is that every marine upholstery shop in the country does this stuff in their sleep. The replacements will look like factory. Not a big deal (although you will probably choke a little at the cost).

I'm surprised (well, maybe not...:smt101) that a cushion from a 2008 isn't available. If you want, post the part number and I'll double check for you.

Otherwise, what Padawan said is about the only way to go.

Choke at the cost? C'Mon, he just bought a 2008 44DA! If I had his money I would throw mine away

Hey guys thanks for the advice and the congrats I'll post photos soon! I'll look up the part number Dennis and post it, but I think JediJD has a good point i think a local marine cushion place can match it like it was original. I'm taking the boat from Hilton Head to Charleston this weekend for a night while we're still getting some warm weather! Thanks again! Jason

From my experience (others may differ), it's usually less expensive to have a local person make it. Plus, you'll be establishing a relationship with a local company - you know, for future use when you have that big party and everyone's dancing all over your cushions in high heels.:smt001
