Yeah, that's what the neighbors said too!!!

Actually, I am installing new transom/gimble housings and an overall inspection, possible rebuilding of the transom while I'm in there.

A full weekend indeed!

More like a full month or two. Keep us posted!

Got both drives and the port engine out, but have to stop due to STORMS coming!!!!!!

I believe I have found the source of the problem~! Plus the gimbal housings, Inside and out, are basically a pile of dust.
Both engines out now, transom assemblies out of there. Replacing with new inner and outter housing, Both Y pipes. Let the fun begin.

Ouch looks to me like transom replacement work needed. A bit more than a "full weekend" - Best of Luck with the project

Wow! Best of luck making her new again!

Am already a member of the club, early in it's infantsy.

NOt my transom rebuild. Will be better than new when I'm done too.
Always a good feeling.

There ws soo much moisture in the transom, that the top bolts that hold the houseing to the inner plate, rusted in two.

Let me talk to you about water intrusion.....

Zincs, mercathodes? we dont need no stinking corrosion protection.....

Time to dig in....

And by the way, the boat is an 88 model, the drives shown here, are 94 models (Gen II's)!

BADDDDDD corrosion.

Wow... keep up the good work... looks like you are off to a ruff start... we are here for support.
