We found out in February that our Pug Chester had cancer. It was already advanced to the point that treatment was not really an option, so we decided to make his last few months as comfortable as possible. We got him when he was a puppy, he turned 13 this year. They say all dogs go to heaven, so I know he is sitting up there with the admiral. He loved the boat, spent a ton of time on both our SeaRay's, he also loved to ride with me on the SeaDoo we had.

I swear he meant more to me than most people - I'm really going to miss him.

We have hundreds of pictures of him (that's him on the swimdeck in my signature), but my favorite is from our boat ride last Saturday - God speed little buddy.

Sorry to hear that. Losing a dog is tough.

Condolences. :(

Dogs are family and losing them is tough. Sorry he is gone. Just remember all the good times and know he isn't suffering.

I am sorry to hear of your loss.I know how much our dogs and pets can mean to us. They are part of the family.

Sorry for your lose. I know the feeling. I lost my little Pug 8 years ago.

Bill, I'm sorry for your loss. We have two pugs that my wife bought many years ago. We don't know how old either is, but we're 'guesstimating' they're about 16 and 17. The youngest one was diagnosed with cancer in February. So far it doesn't seem to affect her, she gets around just fine. The vet suggested a treatment of chemo and radiation. She's scared to death of the vets so we declined their offer. We're going to keep her as long as we can but will not let her suffer when it's time.

The older one is about half a bubble off and I suspect without the younger one around to 'mother' her, the older one won't last long. My wife is already shedding tears over the two of them.

Sorry for your loss Bill, glad you were able to share the time you had with him on this Earth.

I could tell when we had lunch a couple weeks ago that you were very attached to your pet and dreaded the day he would pass.....very sorry to hear and I know it will take time to heal.....

one excellent therapy I can think about during this time is for you to go ahead and get that cruiser you have been wanting....that will certainly take your mind off things........

keep your head up.....things will get better soon......

Sorry for your loss, I have had and still have both cats and dogs, they are family and it hurts deeply to lose one.
