We put the boat in the water on Saturday and Sunday took the boat down to Algonac Michigan for it's final trip to Platinum Yacht Sales to be sold. Sure is tough saying goodbye to a great boat, should make the new owner real happy. We started building our new house and for now boating is on hold but if we return to life on the water Sea Ray is the way to go. Hope everyone has a great boating season.

Dan

Hey Dan...hopefully you're not out for too long. I think I speak for many here, we'll miss your photography from the marina!

Good luck with the new house.

Mark

Best of luck with the new house. You know, you can still stay on here and hang out withs.

I can imagine how you're feeling with having to say goodbye to your baby. Hang in there....you'll be back.

best of luck with the new house and boat sale. I know the feeling. due to job changes I had to put ours up for sale too. It's necessary but still sucks.

Good luck with the new house - we'll be waiting for you to come back!

Dale

Very clean! Too bad you have to concentrate on the house for now. The bug will grab you and bring you back. Good luck!

Best of luck. Platinum Yacht Sales and Bill Ianitelli rocks!!! We had our boat for sale privately for a month with almost no action. We listed with Platinum on a Friday, they had an offer on the Saturday and we delivered it to them on the Monday.

good luck Dan, if i ever make it up your way ill look you up...

As sad as it may be...there will be another boat in your future. Best of luck during the transition! Hope she goes quickly!

Billy is the greatest! I am sooo impressed with his professionalism!

Again thanks everyone :) Jason if your in the area give me a shout, no boat but you can drop by for a swim in our new pool.
ANOTHER hole in the wallet...LOL

And Mark thanks for the comments on my photography, still snapping away. My photo that's in the calander got first place in the Toronto Boat show and I got a $1000 shopping spree which I ended up getting a new BBQ.
If any of you guys are in Florida and shop at "Bealls" check out the artwork there and you will see a 24"X36" canvas print called "Sunrise at Blue Point" one of my published pieces, kind of funny selling Lake Huron sunset pictures in Florida but most would not know the difference.

Thanks again everyone
Dan

Best of luck with the new house - sorry to hear the boat has to go (temporarily!) Your photography is great - this is just a short period between boats - keep posting!

Enjoy the new home. I may be an oddball but have never had interest in building a new home. Ours was built in 1975 on one acre of land and we now have improved it and it has doubled in value. I would not sell my boat to get anything new.....just me I guess but we are debt free at 53 and 49, Mike.

Will look out for your pic in Bealls! Good luck with your new house, we keep thinking of possibly building a new house again too (fun times).
