MS Judy 240SD Asking Price?

The ones I don't understand are the ones that don't asking any thing about the boat. Just ask why you are selling??????

They are waiting to hear that you cant afford the boat anymore, lost your job, or it is in threat of being repo'd. Just say you are moving up, trust me it will weed out the lowballers and people who think they will steal the boat.

Thanks guys. Yes some of the offers have been a joke, but I understand where they are coming from. The ones I don't understand are the ones that don't asking any thing about the boat. Just ask why you are selling?????? You would think if they are interested they would ask question like how many hours, etc, etc.

There are a lot of people who have a boat budget in mind, rather than a boat product. They know that they can spend $xx,xxx and are looking to see first if the boat fits into their set of possibilities. Then they look at the best choice for them within those possibilities. Separating that type of shopper from their money is capitalist Darwinism at its finest. Just my $.02

Now that's just flat out insulting!!!!!!!!!! I thought you would jump on a reasonable trade deal as suggested?????

Okay, Okay make it a 30K boot:lol::smt043:lol::thumbsup:

Sound good to me. Add a 35K boot and we got a deal:thumbsup::grin:

That's funny Chuck. Before we traded, I had my 240 up for sale. Some dude on Craig's list sent me an e-mail asking if I would take a 10 year old aluminum bass boat and an 9 year old Honda dirt bike as trade. I said "sure, as long as the boat is filled with cash". Never heard back.:lol:

Good luck, sorry you have to sell. My good frined had to sell his condo and his boat at our lake because his sales commisions decreased by 50%. Sad day indeed.:smt089

Does that include the Honda generator??????

What generator, that is a special red cooler:grin: Hey remember somebody last summer liking an electric air pump I have on MS Judy:thumbsup:

.... because his sales commisions decreased by 50%. Sad day indeed.:smt089

I wish it had only been 50%. I would say for the last two years they have been down about 75% and I don't see it turning around any time soon.:smt089

Chuck
I'm sorry to see that you are having to do this. Hopefully a more positive swing is upcoming and you'll get back on the water soon.

Thanks Todd. Yep I'm trying to stay positive, but it gets interesting at times.:wow:

I don't know how you sales guys do it. I have friends who are in sales, and they like to point out when they have a good year that sales is the only place "to make real money". And I know the upside is great, it's the down side I couldn't handle.

I feel for you, man. Just sucks that you have to make the tough choice. Especially for someone who obviously takes pride in ownership.

Chuck I'm very sad to hear the news. You have been so helpful when it came to questions about the SD line. I've read so many posts about your mods I feel like I've been out on your boat. Please stick around and I wish you the best in selling her and when you move up in a couple years you can once again tell me what I should/should not do on our newer bigger boats!
Good luck my Friend

Good luck on the sale Chuck. Sorry to hear it.

Thanks Mike. You getting any good hits on your yet?
