Mom had massive heart attack yesterday at 5pm

I got the call about a mile from work,had to pull over for a minute.She was just here from TN last week and i took her for a 25 mile boat ride.She was still in Mi and had just arrived at little sisters house for a week.The ambulance arrived in 10 minutes and transported her to butterworth heart center in grand rapids,an hour away from there.By 7 pm they were doing angio and installing a stint.My sis was with her and she drove moms hubby down too.I havent heard anything since 7pm and hopefully sis will call today to let me know how the morning tests are going.My niece was in town visiting from san diego as she will be moving next week to austrailia and wont be making a trip home for a few years at best.We have no family history of heart attacks so it caught us by surprise,fortunate my niece has a phd and noticed the signs.Glen

Wow, so sorry to hear... I hope she has a speedy and full recovery. I lost my dad when he was 39 to his 2nd heart attack, so I know the feeling.
