I did notice his absence though cause he posted a lot….hope he doing well.

Yea I was looking at some old threads, and saw his name and realized hadnt seen him in a while is why I posted. I never had any bad dealings with him, but obviously he had issues to get the responses we got from very reasonable posters.

I never had any issues with the guy so I can’t say anything bad. I try not to wish any ill on anyone that’s not actively driving a pontoon boat with the headlights on or dragging in the left lane

Now that the boat is finally back in the water after it's 6 months of hell (winter) I hope to branch back out of the meme posting.

First night on the boat tonight. Came up to stock it and check it over. What is a heater for if you don't use it? <40 outside, 70 in the cabin. Ice maker, fridge and radio work...what else does a guy need.

Congratulations! Sounds like a good time to me . . . kind of like a stocked ice fishing cabin, but without the cold feet and that pesky obligation to pretend like you're trying to catch fish.

I touched Greg with a PM MERRY CHRISTMAS at the holidays.

If he's still boating and is back on here, I'd suspect he would be a lurker under another name.

Just a mis-understood individual who has A LOT OF difficulty playing with others and gets his feelings hurt way too easily.

On a separate issue, suicide is really nothing to joke around about, not even as dark humor.

This is an increasingly real issue in this country, and especially for our military.

i’ve lost a few people over the years this way. I’ve been in the hole a few times myself as well. Definitely not a joking matter

What I wish was only dark humor....first night on the boat last night. This morning....snowing of course.

I swear if I put my boat in the water in August, it would snow the next day.

But it is 70 in the boat, plenty of coffee...life is good.

I don't think anyone was wishing that on him or insinuating that. I know I didn't, that is a very serious thing and very real.

I have lost a few to this myself. I lost my brother from another mother that way. Friends since fourth grade, and I had no idea what was going on.

While he is not my favorite person by a long shot, I don't wish that kind of trouble on anyone and hope this in not the case with Greg.
