I just checked .....last post was 10/8 in the Joke thread. Nothing since.

I read the joke soon after he posted it. Was not a good joke especially considering what is going on in the world, but I didn’t complain about it. I am quite sure he didn’t mean it literally, probably just saw it somewhere. I do hope he finds his way back, he really is one of my favorite posters. Am I recalling correctly that he had a health scare a wile back and spent a couple days in the hospital? I do hope it’s not health related.

So a few things going on…… the joke was insane bad timing…..what are the odds. The day I posted that joke I was out with a German of all people for lunch at the boat…… I just met him this year and he says….I have a joke….and then he says I can’t tell it… I said oh no you can’t do that …you have to tell it. So to back up a bit I am very against cancel culture against comedians…..and I can see certain comedy in jokes…… when I posted the joke you guy lost your shit…..and the emails were a bit spirited…..and that’s fine. But….it’s a joke. I know you will say yes in bad taste yes…..I agree but a joke in the end….poor taste incredibly bad timing…. I apologize and deleted it but it was definitely not meant to harm anyone.

second I am insanely busy at work and the damn boat needs to go away

third this latest update on CSR has been a shit show….. I struggle enough on the boat and on my phone with the internet….throw in CSR and I just said screw it I need a rest from this

i understand the joke was a big deal…. No problem I deleted it and apologized….I really am sorry about that……

this is a great group here ….hopefully we get back to where we were.

Welcome back!

The CSR site is better now but still not as reliable as the previous version. It took two weeks of berating Jim to get him to pay attention (it was completely unusable) to it which is unfortunate. Apparently, he doesn't use the site very often or has a lot of us long term guys on Ignore.
