Missing CSR member

I still love CSR and think it's as good as it's ever been. A lot of people have come and gone, then come back and left again....that's normal for any forum. Anyone who's been on forums for any length of time knows that they ebb and flow. It's rare to find a forum like CSR that is mostly self-policing and where the members are naturally civil and helpful to one another. Compare CSR to the sludge hole with the initials THT and you want to take a shower after just lurking over there....its the Walmart of forums (no offense to those who like Walmart or who might be Walmartians themselves).

Hello fellow boaters, seems to me as long as we have Searays, and there is an avenue to other owners ideas and solutions for problems and improvements, the forum will be just fine. Thanks for the hard work from the administrators. Steve

Since I've only been on CSR a few months, I just want you guys who have been here awhile how valuable you are to newbies like me. I haven't even taken delivery of my boat (happens next week) and when I do, I'll own one of the smallest Sea Rays (195 Sport), but this forum has been invaluable to me. Even though most of you own much larger boats, I feel like a sponge and I'm sucking up as much knowledge as I can.

I haven't owned a boat in nearly 30 years and I'll be a better boater because of this forum. My biggest fear is reading so many posts about larger boats will turn my two foot-it is into 20 foot itis!!

So thanks to all of you!

The season is just starting, so the posting frequency will being to rise soon... This year my eldest daughter will be entering College, so saving for the next boat will not be priority. I will be lucky to afford the maintenance and gas for what I have... So as was said before, the ebb and flow of our posting reflects life changes and priorities. Kinda of like the weather. I do look forward to this season, and as always, hope to spend less money on maintenance this year than last...

I may not post much, but I look forward to checking in on a regular basis. There is a huge amount of content that is very educating about Sea Ray and the resources. Also, there is always good discussion on a variety of topics, some of which is humorous, and some that is interesting. Keep it up. Great Forum.

"Skip" is alive and well, enjoying his almost new 52DB. He has been very busy starting a new business providing high level services to Department of Defense contractors.

Do you mean "searay40dad" ? If that is who you mean, then Tim is in the same space as Skip, i.e. DOD service provider. He is still around, just extremely busy with business and considering a water front home and a smaller boat instead of a just big boat.

What? You don't stay in contact with Wayne?

We miss Jason too. Thanks for starting the hole in the water club!

Ditto, I've enjoyed this forum for 10 years! Offensive comments or posts? I ignore them!
