Miss Geico Turbine Powered Hydroplane

I saw Miss Geico at Miami Boat Show last month

That thing looks like a scarey ride even when it's to the dock.

That is pretty cool. Who'd thought a little lizard could steer a boat that well.

I wonder if any of the other boats racing were turbine powered also, or is Miss Geico the only turbine powered boat so far?

I have not seen them in year, but I thought they all went to turbine power in that class????

That get the adrenaline pumping just watching it.
I have a customer on the crew attempting the speed record.

They're trying to set the World Speed Record (WSR) on the water.

It appears to me that the Geico boat was the Stand On boat and the others weren't yielding as they should. Where is the Coast Guard when you really need them? I'd also be worried about all the helicopters flying at the same altitude in such close proximity!

Just recently here a helicopter crashed in the water following a similar type speed boat they never said why the helicopter crashed though.

Knew a guy up here in Maryland Ed Mossmiller that had a Skater with turbines It killed him and another person back in 05 running around 180mph the boat got to much air under it and flipped over I have to say the few times I saw it run it was wild

I must be getting old...I think I would take my chances with Todd's Wego Kite first...

Sorry Wesley
That was my cousin Brady's. When it was banned he traded it in for the new Sumo Tube.
Which you wear like a sundress.
