Now I gotta admit that I love running the boat when it's rough. I mean REALLY rough, like 6' or larger seas. I guess it brings out the "Captain Ahab" in me, or something like that. Me against the seas, that kind of thing.
But the flip side of that is there is also something to be said for running a boat on seas that are mirror flat, as in this video I took last summer.
Joint Custody you're going to end up costing me some $$$ with these pictures. I've never been to Lake Powell before, but your pictures really make me want to see it. Awesome pic. Amazing.
I’m not a fan of the rough days. Especially on the ocean. But I love when it’s dead flat like in your video.
We try to make a trip up the Hudson River once a year. We go out our closest inlet (45 minute ride with the no wake zones), head west for 22 miles, then turn right in to NY Harbor and head north. We had dead flat water on one of those trips a few years back where it was dead calm from my dock all the way to the end of our 150 mile trip that day. It was amazing!
Sweet.. nothing like that.I’m not a fan of the rough days. Especially on the ocean. But I love when it’s dead flat like in your video.
