Mattress Pad

Brian

Here's a picture showing the design of our mattress pad. It's intended to create a 'pillow top' effect for the standard OEM type mattresses. This particular picture is a mattress pad in the forward stateroom on a Sundancer. The pad is designed to lay over the mattress and then covered with sheets. We make the same style for the fold out bed in the Aft conversation area. I'm a little speechless regarding the response you received and the picture of the product. It's nothing like our mattress pad.

Now THAT'S a Mattress pad. Thanks for the PM. Check your "in box". Sincerely, Brian

An electric carving knife is the only way to cut them clean!

We have a 3" memory foam with gel topper but also have the Froli sleep system under the mattress. It is so much more comfortable now, I can sleep without constantly rolling around all night!

Did you order a custom made fitted sheet for your 340 or just a normal fitted Queen Sheet? I ask because of the significant price differential between the two and we have yet to overnight on the boat. I have laid down on the bed sevaral times and it is "quite firm" to say the least.
We used regular fitted queen sheets
StephenOvalle,
I notice we have the same boat so I am I safe to assume you put one of your pads and fitted sheets on your boat? If so, how about posting a picture of your 320 bed with the pad?

We used just regular fitted queen size flannel sheets. Nothing too elaborate, just enough to cover both the regular cushions and the memory form. We keep our bed made all the time even though we don't have a door to wall off the vberth. We find it easier than constantly making and taking down it is inviting for the naps on those rainy days.
In our 32 we had a harder time because the bolsters came down into the mattress which made it a bit more troublesome

One of the very first upgrades was our mattress topper.... Costco, King size and a few minor electric knife adjustments.... Sleeping like a baby = priceless !!!
Our sheets, king size and then the corner holders for the bottom sheet.... TC400+ from bed bath & beyond under $75. Our comforter, BB&B for under $150 and then our canvas guy for $75 custom cut & sewed it to match the old one......(versus over $750 for this custom set thru a Sea Ray supplier)

A penny saved, is a penny earned !!! I'm spending mine on diesel.....

I had major back surgery almost 2 years ago and try to keep my beds as comfortable as possible. The Froli was $300+ but the topper was less than $150. Together they created a nice sleeping vessel for us.

BTW, My mattress set at home retailed at $7K and we bought (negotiated) for over $4K. Sleep surfaces are not overrated!
