Marine Quality Teak Tables - Worldwide Delivery

I'm looking forward to your pictures too as we are also planning to replace our boring white table this year.

I ordered a nautic star table last weekend and it should be hear soon. Looking forward to dressing up the cockpit from the plain whit table. I need to order the Semco product to seal it.

Here is our new Nautic Star table the first morning on our boat. It is sealed with natural Semco. Works perfectly for what we wanted it for.

Hi Eddie

I think Madifonzo is talking about our Nautic Star Round which is shown on this page:-

You can use the drop down box to pick one of the three sizes available.

As always, if we can be of any help, please let me know.

Luke
Luke,

Can I use the mount/post from the original table? If so, what size screws would I need to use? I am looking at the TC7050 Nautical Star since it would be easier to maneuver in the space when it if flipped in half.

Thanks,

Luke my boat is the older SeaRay style where the table is the center support for the bed. What would you recommend? Your table would make our cabin look so much better but will it support the bed and my 21yo baby.

Hi Eddie

Firstly, apologies for the delay in replying - there's a few hours difference between us, but I do try to get back to any questions as soon as possible..

The TC7050's mounting area is 10" in diameter - it's the circle part in the middle, so as long as your mount fits in this then it will be perfect. The Nautic Star Circle has a lot of character and a lovely table!

We use stainless steel screws that protrude 12mm / 1/2" into the table, but add a little extra obviously for the table mount you are using.

As always, any questions, please let me know!

Luke

Hello dwna1a !

I don't have the dimensions of your table unfortunately, but if you have a measure up, we will definitely have a table that is going to be perfect - if not, we can always make one for you!

Generally, where the table drops to become a bed, then an flat table is preferable - here is the choice:- http://www.marineteak.co.uk/flat-teak-tables-2-c.asp

Here to help if you need it!

Order placed. Thanks for your help.

Luke,

Will I be able to treat the table before use? Or will I need to wait?

Thanks

Good morning !

We suggest leaving the table out of the box for a few hours prior to treating with Semco for best results.

Great. I will leave out in open air for a few days then treat.

Just got back from vacation and finally had time to treat our table. It really looks gorgeous. How will I know that the two thin coats that I applied are enough? We'll be installing the hardware tonight and taking it out to the boat this Friday for our first yacht club cruise with our new boat. I'm excited to show off our super awesome teak table!!

Hey Sandy

As you apply the Semco sealer, the table will darken slightly - its not the sealer, its more the fact that you are making the table wet. As long as all parts are slightly darker then you have applied enough. Once dry (which only takes a very short time) the teak will be back to the original color. Do not over apply - there is no benefit of applying too much sealer, just wasting money. We find that two thin coats give the very best results.

Looking forward to seeing the pictures! Hope you enjoy the club cruise!

Thank you for the clarification on applying the Semco sealer. It does look lighter today. I'm glad that I did the project in the garage. There are enough fumes as the sealer is drying that it's good to have proper ventilation.

I'll definitely post pictures as soon as we have it mounted.

Here are some pictures of our table. We'll take it out to the boat on Friday!

Luke,

I am ready to install the new mount to the table. What size pilot holes do you guys drill? Can you send a photo of the screws you use? I should have purchased with the table.

Thanks,
