Marine Quality Teak Tables - Worldwide Delivery

Hi all

Firstly, may I just say a quick thank you to all the members of Club Sea Ray that have been in touch - it's been great talking to many of you over the last year or so and also thank you to the Club for allowing us to sponsor the Forum!

We have some news that may be of interest to some members - We are now building "Custom Tables" – If one of our sixteen styles of tables is not perfect for you, you can now design your own!

Choose the style, shape, length, breadth, depth and even curved sides can be specified along with folding leaf options to produce a unique table that will fit all of your requirements perfectly.

Caulking or no caulking, fiddle or no fiddle, Nautic Star logo or no logo - the choice is completely yours!

We can even add your boat name - everything is up to you!

Check out our recent designs on the site to give you some inspiration, then send us your ideas and we will put them into a CAD drawing for your approval - it's simple, quick and we think you'll be very surprised at the price!

Once the design has been approved by you, it is sent to our manufacturing plant for build and delivery is under six weeks, often sooner.

Pop onto www.MarineTeak.co.uk and click on the “Custom Tables” tab at the top for more information.

As a UK company, we have to show our prices including UK Vat, which is 20%. Orders from outside the European Union do not pay this tax, so you save the 20%. For a quick calculation, divide the price shown by 1.2

On the right hand side in the Worldwide Delivery box you can change the currency too! When you get to the checkout, this saving is automatically deducted. Plus – don’t forget the Club Sea Ray discount on top of this of an extra 10%!

As always, delivery to USA is £25 (approx. $38) and with the UK pound dropping like a stone against the USDollar (currently $1.52/£1.00) and the fact that customers outside the European Union do not pay UKVat (20%) the savings are fantastic!

It is sometimes a little difficult to give a recommendation for a particular boat - the reason is, is that the original table put on by the manufacturers is not always the perfect table. Every family has different uses for their boat - so in a lot of instances our Nautic Star Wing table is absolutely perfect, but some for instance, may not want a folding table at all.

Some people like a very large table, some like a smaller table giving more room in the cockpit of course. Just because there was a 44" table originally doesn't mean that this is right for you of course.

Currently we have around twenty four standard tables with between two and seven sizes in each range - this is increasing all the time - so we generally recommend you take a look through the range and decide which style would be perfect for you, then check the sizes available.

We deliver worldwide, with a carriage charge of just $35 and delivery on average of four or five working days on stock tables.

Saying all of the above, of course we are here to help, so I did take a look for the SeaRay 340 SDA 2003 and my personal choice would definitely be the Nautic Star Wing - this is available in five sizes. The great aspect of the Wing is that you only need a full size table when you are dining - normally only three of four percent of the time. The rest of the time on board you simply need somewhere to put your drinks and nibbles and generally not get in the way of boat duties. The Wing folds down to 13.4" when closed, but opens up to 27" when open giving plenty of room for alfresco dining. I think the 39.4" length Wing would be the right one, but it would be worth measuring to confirm of course. (TW35100)

What might be helpful is for Sea Ray owners to post the measurements of the tables on their boats. I'm heading to the marina in a couple of hours and will be happy to post the table size for our 2010 450DA.
 
For 280 owners I replaced the sad frisbee that came with the boat with medium size Nautic Star. What a change! I used the exisitng mount from the boat so the table can actually rotate vertically to stow and be out of the way...much like the round table.
 
2010 - 450 DA Owners - here are the dimensions of the white cockpit table:

20.75" x 33.5" (527 mm x 851 mm).

Now to decide which table to order!

Do you have the model number and photo? I am looking to replace the frisbee as well.
 
We ordered the Nautic Star Circle and it arrives tomorrow!! We're still trying to decide how to treat the table once we install it. We've used teak oil on the teak footrests in our cockpit and they look great but I don't know what they were originally treated with. We definitely prefer a natural finish and not a finish that looks like varnish. Would the Semco teak sealer accomplish this or can we just use the teak oil? Looking forward to seeing our new table!!

We very much recommend the Semco Teak Sealer. This is available everywhere in the US and well, well worth the purchase price. We are actually suppliers of this in the UK, but due to Customs Regulations we are not allowed to send it overseas, which is a shame of course - but, it's actually cheaper in the States anyway as it is an American product.

Semco is one of those products that once you use it once, you will always use it - absolutely brilliant for teak decks as well of course. We sell thousands of tins every year here and it is becoming increasingly popular.

Looking forward to seeing the pictures of your new Nautic Star Circle when you get a minute!

I guess my question is what kind of finish does the Semco sealer leave on the table? We don't have much experience with teak (yet!). Also - I completely forgot to use the discount code for Club Sea Ray in my order. Are you still offering that discount and is there anything that can be done about that? (feeling a bit foolish...)

Semco doesn't change the table at all. In fact, you won't know it has been applied. Apply two thin coats, leaving about twenty minutes inbetween coats. Use a cloth rather than a paint brush or foam brush for ease. It really is a brilliant product and we are very proud to be a re-seller. Its the only product we use!

Okay that's perfect! I just placed an order on Amazon (they have everything!). We have one of the boring white tables from Sea Ray so I'm really looking forward to seeing what the teak table will look like in it's place. Thank you for the links also!
