hi everyone,
I'm looking at the 1996 to 2001 year range 40ft sedan bridge models.
I just had a few questions for those who wouldn't mind sharing some info.
During sea trial i like to look at cruise/top speed along with fuel usage and RPM to help determine if the engines are running properly.
So i'm wondering what other owners are getting for fuel usage numbers on their boats at a given RPM?
Ive read as good as 22GPH total for both engines at cruise?
Finally, what hours should i expect to get from a 3116? Im looking at a 96 model now that has 3000hrs, wasnt sure if that was too high or not.
im reading that 5000+hrs if the engine was not overloaded and taken care of.
thanks
-Phil
