Here is a listing of the modifications we have done to "J.A.C.S. R Wild" since we bought her:
1. Replaced existing electronics with (2) station Raymarine RL80CRC/Ray530RC displays; Ray125 WAAS/GPS; DSM250 Digital Depth module w/ B744V Triducer; ST8002 Type 2 Hydraulic A/P system w/ Wireless remote; Ray 218 VHF/Hailer system.
2. Reupholstered flybridge seating and fabrics with original Sea Ray Colors and patterns (Dk Blue/grey/white)
3. Reupholstered cockpit bolsters (Dk Blue/Dk grey/white)
4. Reupholstered Salon fabrics and replaced curtains with 2004 Sea Ray style fabrics (Blues/Creams/Natural colors)
5. Replaced existing Sea Ray furniture with LaZboy double recliner "Love Seat" style Couch and matching accent chairs. (Dk Blue)
6. Installed Flat panal TVs in salon and forward Berth.
7. Installed "Surround" sound and stereo system in Salon.
8. Installed 12vdc Halogen overhead lighting in Salon ceiling bolsters.
9. Replaced counter tops in Galley area.
10. Refaced Galley cabinets with new teak veneer
11. Made new sliding cabinet doors for Galley cabinets
12. Replaced flybridge canvas with Sunbrella vinyl coated for top and bronze tinted isenglass for enclosure and camper canvas for aft cockpit. (Black)
13. Repainted boat with Interlux Perfection - Oyster White - and changed exterior trim colors to black. Striping done in Black/grey
14. Installed KVH M3 Satellite TV system
15. Installed quarry tile in bathroom floor
16. Updated to new VacuFlush style toilet
I am currently replacing the headliner and wall fabric in the forward Berth with "Off White" vinyl. Did not want to really get into this project right now but the existing fabric was coming loose and didn't like the stuff that was there.
It seems like alot to do to a boat but these projects were all done to "make it look better" and NOT because the boat was in disrepair. Quite the contrary - everyone that sees the boat is VERY impressed with its condition. J.A.C.S. R Wild is a true Classic and I just want to keep it that way.:thumbsup:
