Late 90's 270 Sundancer Thread

Jakester - I might be going to my boat this weekend and if so, I'll measure my cooler.

Nodrog - You have to have another cooler where it belongs :)

The trash can is 11 1/2W x 8D x 12H . It has rounded corners the fit in the step inset.

My cooler is an Igloo Marine 36. 22Wx13h 13d top and 11.5d bottom

The new Igloo coolers are now 24 inches long v. the 22 mentioned so you better measure the space to make sure a new Igloo Marine 36 will work so be aware the numbers may not work.

Further, given the difference in widths between the SE and SD models, I am unsure if the seat well is the same size in both.

Well gang, I was able to take the boat out last weekend. What a blast. The weather was in the upper 60s with a little rain at night. Spent the whole weekend up at the marina. Coming into work was a little rough this morning, but, the inagural voyage was a success.

Hey jakester. Did you ever find a trash can that fits? I found my old one from my 99 270. If ya want it lemme know if not its goin in the garbage. Pm me if ya want it

Yes it does . Open the swim platform hatch and look at the wall inside to the right were you connect your shore power. There should be a sticker saying galvanic isolated behind wall or something along those lines. If the sticker is not there it should be but to access it just remove the screws around the panel and pull the panel out. And it should be right there

Team, I have a few burned out light-bulbs in my boat. West Marine has them, but their hours are awful for a workin man (literally 9-5 M-F). Does anyone know what the model number or identifying number is for the bulb that goes in the bathroom and the bulb that fits the small directional lights so I can just order them online?

Another quick question, I had to cut the zip-tie on the drain under my sink to coat-hanger out a clog in the line and I have now learned that the zip-tie needs to be there. Does anyone happen to have a picture of the proper zip-tie alignment so I can re tie my line?

Thanks everyone.

Sorry don't have a part number or mfg info.

My local Marine Max/Sea Ray dealer had them in stock, and I have seen them at West Marine as well.

I think this may be what you are looking for as to hardware for Sea Ray cabinets.

I bought both the back part that has the locking bar that slides up as well as the push button.

Now wish I had purchased the nickel color as I am now replacing my small side spot lights on the table and they only come in nickel now.

They are cheap so buy some spares.....

Any body replace round latch handles on cockpit cabinet doors? Part number or brand? Thanks

Did you realize this is not the thread for our boats, it is here: http://clubsearay.com/showthread.php/936-Mid-90-s-270-Sundancer-Thread

The latches are Southco slam latches. Check your size and depth.

I put in the SS and they are nice but pricey.

Hello everyone, i'm glad I stumbled on to this forum. We recently purchased a 98 270 DA with no genny and I have some questions. 1. Curious to find out how long fridge will run on 12v before a battery is dead? 2. In the galley area to the starboard of cooktop what does the other switch control?

There both for the light above the galley. The round one. One switch is for 12v and the other is for 110 when hooked up to shore power. If you pull the round cover off the light you will c two different bulbs.
As for the fridge it all depends on what batteries you have and how many amps your fridge pulls per hour

The two switches there are both for the galley light. One is 12vt. dc and the other is 120vt. ac. If you pull the cover from the light fixture you should find two bulbs in it. I can't tell you about the fridge because I have a generator and haven't ran the fridge along time just on the battery.
Congrats on your new purchase and welcome.
