Hey gang, we took a week at Powell over the Memorial holiday. I thought i might share a few pictures.
For those who have not been there, the white waterline you see represents about 70 vertical feet. That should help with the scale.
Here is L'eau Ambition comfortably at rest just past the mouth of the San Juan (about 60 miles uplake):
And here is the obligatory Honda generator pic. But don't worry he only starts it in the bilge or in the cabin with all the hatches closed. The boat on the far shore is a Bayliner 28 or 30. The use of telephoto made it appear closer than it was.
Here comes some weather. We got plenty of rain and worse, quite a bit of wind in the early parts of the trip. Nothing like 40+ mph winds while you are at anchor at 2 am.
