Lake Michigan Rendezvous

What if we were to target a weekend toward the end of July. Kids are not back to school sports yet and there is a chance of good weather. Just a thought - if we pin a proposed date down, then everyone can look at a calendar and know if it is possible or make suggestions for another option. What about one of the following dates: w/e of July 23, July 30 or August 6th
 
If you choose the weekend of July 22nd-24th, 2016, then we're out. We'll be at Put-In-Bay for Christmas in July!

+1 for reef point, great clean marina, perfect cove for a raft up, plenty to do by dingy, and plenty of open slips. We don't have a sea Ray yet... But hope to close on a 440eb when the weather breaks and can finish sea trials. We will be following this thread to see where it goes, if I may ask, any children coming? We have a 5 year old. July 22-24 is italianfest, short walk from the harbor, bands, music, food...draws a decent crowd. Check it out

Welcome to CSR - do you call Reefpoint home?
 
Yes we do, we have done short seasons on W2, with our formula. I have been an avid follower of csr, just don't have much to post at this time. I swore up and down that last season would be our final season strictly on our go fast. It is time to have a condo on the water to go with it! I am sure we have crossed paths at some point. You don't look to far from us, guessing w5? We have crossed fingers for an awesome, hot summer!

We bought our 420DA from Reefpoint last year, loved that marina everyone was so nice. As for children, yes they are more than welcomed, lots to do in South Haven. We don't have a definite Marina picked out yet just trying to find one that works for the majority. If we can secure the slips at the municipal marina we would all be close together.
 
Wilt, if that was the skipper buds 420 that came on the market last fall it was a beautiful boat, I didn't know the owners but it seemed to be taken care of well.
 
We are currently available for any of the three suggested weekends. South Haven during Blueberry Festival would be hard to do. Other weekends however are doable at the municipal marina. We usually go every year with a small group, but we are just as open to something on the west side of the lake too.
 
If there is interest in Reefpoint on the weekend of Italian fest (great food and music) for approx 8-10 35-45 foot boats, I would be happy to contact the office and have discussion of the availability of putting everyone close, with putting the bigger ones on the T of a 40' row of slips. Let me know if this has any interest.

FYI, we will definitely not be attending then. We will be at Put-In-Bay for Christmas in July that weekend. This will be Mrs. Strypes' 26th year attending straight!
