With so many boaters in Lake Michigan has there ever been a Club SeaRay gathering? Wondering if anyone would like to get together this summer? Lots of great ports on both sides of the pond!

I would be interested! When are you thinking?

Mrs. Strypes and I are planning a trip to the Straits Of Mackinac & Mackinac Island and she was thinking that it would be cool to run down to Chicago and grab a pizza! Maybe we could work it out around the same time as your rendezvous...

I went to look at the CSR member map to get an idea of who has to go how far but there's nothing on it now. I suppose you'll lean toward the southern end of the lake.

We would be up for it. We plan to go to Mackinac Island the last week in June and to Chicago for the America's Cup June 10-12. And we always look for excuses to go to South Haven and Saugatuck during the season, but would love to entertain other destinations as well.

We'd be interested too. Haven't ventured out of Green Bay yet, so any excuse to go somewhere would work.

Thanks for the replies, sounds like we have enough interest :smt038 I'm open to suggestions. Maybe list A few of your favorite ports and dates available. I was thinking about Labor Day weekend, but most weekends work.
-South Haven
- Saugatuck
-Would love to get back over to Racine or Milwaukee

We will be in Northern Lake Michigan first week of July, Frankfort and would like to get over to Sturgeon Bay Area.

we could host at Reefpoint in Racine - plenty of open slip space and great accomodations

Thanks for the offer DaFish, I can vouch for Reefpoint Marina it is a georgeous marina.
Any more ideas?

Seeing that most people that have replied so far are from the mid to southern half of the lake would anyone be aposed to a Friday & Saturday night stay at the South Haven Municipal Marina late July or August?
August 11-14 is the Blueberry Festival and it might be hard to get slips but I've never been there. Gary Hill, I believe you have been there for the festival, is it worth trying?

Still open to suggestions

A get together at South Haven would be the most logistical location for the majority. They have the facilities and restaurants to make a great get together.

The Blueberry festival will be crowded, waits at reastaurants will be long. Less conducive to a relaxing meeting of friends.

I can't do weekdays, hard enough getting a Friday afternoon off. Crap I'm a tough boss! If we pick some dates soon we should be able to get slips for a weekend. I thought reservations didn't start till the first of April.

We would love to host at Milwaukee Yacht Club. Happy to help any way I can.
