Keep Track of Rising Prices

Yea I wasn’t sure about that, I know they are expanding. Personally I don’t like them, I don’t like having to walk a 1/2 mile inside a store to go to the bathroom while fueling vehicle
There are no Buccee’s near me, so it is more of a novelty when I travel. Pretty much no waiting to get to one of the 500 pumps. They also sell leaded regular gas and I heard that their brisket sandwiches are pretty good.

2 days ago I had the distinct opportunity to fill up the car. Gas was 4.57 (lower than it had been) and my fillup was $75. First time ever. Granted, the car was very low on gas but that really sux.

Yeah. Buc-ees in Baytown, TX. Huge. Had anything there you could need
This is the draw, if you need fuel, a lawn chair, inner-tube for your kids bike, snow shovel, a lawn mower blade, roofing nails, distributor cap for a 78 Chevy, and a damn good brisket sandwich, buc-ces is your place.

Buc-ees was just about ready to open a 104 pump station in Daytona Beach the year we moved north.
yeah i think the one i was at had over 100 pumps

4626.40/US Gal here in Ontario, Canada!
Over $150.00 to fill up SUV that had quarter tank to start.
Pays for our Medicare!

I refuse to buy gas in Illinois. Save as much as .80 per gallon by buying it in WI.

Same down this way. We cruise 20 minutes south and take on fuel-in Indiana. $1.00 a gallon cheaper. Phuck Prickster!

BP regular for the Lincoln and the XC90 3.27 gl plus almost always $1 off a gl with Harris Teeter fuel points. Marina gas $3.95 member price NON ethonal 89.

Guess I'm in good shape, wife works from home, I'm done with work so boat/ABC (liquor store)/food store all less than 15 minutes away. Tank in the XC90 (me) lasts a month/ Lincoln (Her) same/ Jag hasn't seen the light of day in a month/ boat 130 gls if we go out 2 days a week and a weekend day last a 2/3 months. That's where the wee 4.3's shine. 2500 rpm, 9-10 mph sipping gas.

Took the boat out yesterday with a buddy for the sole reason of burning up old gas. Started just under a 1/2, out for 5 hours weather was hot but calm. Got it down to just about an 1/8th.

89 Non Ethanol
$5.25 non member price
$4.14 member price
I always forget it goes in the tank at the non member price then they apply the discount when you’re finished. So my $150 turned into $120 for almost 30Gal. Put me back at 1/2 a tank of fresh.

@GirlyGirl1999 What was the price in late 2020 or early 2021?
We bought the boat in 21 and have had it slipped at Safe Harbor the whole time.
If I remember right it was $3.90 with members getting a $.50 discount. Now they tell us as a member we get it for what they put it in there tank for.

Yeah, I got fuel at Safeharbor Westport last weekend - I am not a member, but on Sunday regular price was $5.19, member price $3.95. Unfortunately for me, Lake Norman Marina has started carrying 93 Octane non-ethanal and the current price is $6.29! I hear because the Malibu boats they sell require it, but it is no benefit to me. Just too much of a price difference for me not to plan a trip down the lake when I need fuel.

But...but....Biden just said on tv that the economy is doing great! Wages up, inflation down, job rates up, world peace....

I had to top up the tanks on the boat last weekend. It took 95 gallons (360 litres) and the cost was CAD$ 703.00 (about US$535) so about $US 5.62/gal. But as I always say, I love paying money for gas for the boat. It means I am using it for what I bought it for.

The marina where I buy gas only sells 93 octane, no ethanol and Valvtech. Started the year at $4.49, went to $4.69 for Memorial day and back down to $4.49 for the 4th. IIRC we paid in the high $2s and low $3s in 2020.

Our marina only sells mid grade and high test (89 and 91) and it’s all ethanol free. I get the mid grade.
