Keep Track of Rising Prices

It's not uncommon (or at least when I boated there 20 years ago) on the James river to pay a fuel truck to come to some ones home dock, 4-5 boats ready to go to fuel up. Cuts out the costs of the marina as well. Is that an option for you?

I WISH!

Marina won't allow it and don't know anyone nearby enough with enough water in their canal to allow me to fuel up behind their house

I heard the owner of our marina looked into having a fuel truck come once a week or once a month but not sure it's feasible.
The story I was told was that the ones that owned the fuel dock bought that marina several years ago and wanted to upgrade the dock and pumps. When the new owners looked into it the EPA found out the old one was never permitted so made the new owners get rid of it.
I have a 15 gallon tank on wheels here at home.
Years ago we were at a marina that didn't permit fueling from the docks so one boat used to load their boat with 5 gallon cans then go out to the middle of the river and pour their fuel in then come back in to dock...lol

My marina is charging $6.69 to all members. Only members can buy gas here. That is for 87 non-ethanol and no ValvTech. Marina where I buy gas was $4.69 at the end of last season. It was $4.49 last week for 93 non-ethanol and ValvTech.

We have a convenience store chain around here called Sheetz. Today they offered all grades of gas at 1.776 (read 1776). Lines were crazy. They had to close the streets down then later they blocked off. Heard lines were over an hour long. I did stop later as the lines were gone. Filled up 4 5 gallon cans and topped off my truck. Turns out all tanks were empty except the ethanol free

We do. All Sheetz had this promotion yesterday. Think they have over 1000 locations.
They also saved us from the East Palestine train derailment...lol. I always went to Leake Oil in E.P. for gas cause it was just across the Ohio line and typically around .60 cheaper. On 2/3 we went out to eat for my birthday and were gonna leave there to go to Leake Oil. They had just built a new Sheetz in my town right around X-Mas and they had a 3 month promo with gas .50 off so I decided it didn't make sense to drive the extra 10 miles the other direction to get gas so went to Sheetz instead. The train derailed right behind Leake Oil. That was 2/3 and the road is still closed and Leake Oil has been closed since then. There was no damage to the gas station but no traffic is allowed back there other than the clean up trucks.

Love Sheetz. It's QuikTrip on steroids.
