We managed to get out this past weekend. Temps were in the high 30's, but nice and toasty on the boat. The sun was promised, but that was a lie for most of the day. First time out in 3 months ...itch scratched ..lightly.
Lion's Gate Bridge which is the entrance to Port of Vancouver. The port is behind us.
Burrard Bridge, edge of downtown Vancouver to the left.
Burrard Bridge looking the other way out toward English Bay ...snow capped Coastal Mountains in the distance. The trees on the right are Stanley Park which is the main park in Vancouver, and adjacent to downtown. Some of the trees are 100's of years old, and stand over 25 stories tall. It's about 1.5x the size of NYC's Central Park
Stanley Park in the foreground with downtown Vancouver behind it.
Coming back into the marina in North Vancouver. Usually there are 7000ft mountains there just behind the buildings but the clouds were low that day and obscured.
