It's time for a............REPEAT!!!

Watching last night's game was painful. It was great to see the Hawks' opening drive, but then when they brought all the starters off the field (except for Okung) it went rapidly downhill. Thank heaven those 3rd and 4th stringers aren't the starters. They looked good on some plays, but bad on most. C'mon man, did you ever see a team get THREE offside penalties on the same kickoff attempt.

The Raiders' QB, Carr, looked pretty good and they had a couple of running backs (Atkinson and one other) that looked good.

Now it's on to the opening game next Friday against the cheeseheads. Go Hawks!
 
Well Mike you better hope none of your starters get hurt in that case! First game is Thursday night by the way...

My bad, you're correct on both points....the game is Thursday, and I'm praying that none of the first stringers gets busted up.

You will need them. Looking at the stats, your division looks pretty weak this year. Looks like Giants and Vikings may be running strong starting this season. But Hey it was pre-season. Lets see what happens when it's for real.

Hey Scott, thanks for that thunderous vote of confidence for the Colts. Think Luck can pull the team together for the opener? They seem to have a hard time in the red zone.
 
Ken, I think you have your forty-whiners hat pulled down too low over your eyes. How can you say the Seahawks have no class? They are all about class....especially when compared to the niners. You guys talk all the smack you want. When the season is over the 'Hawks will be the Super Bowl champs again.

I haven't heard any of you guys accept the bet?????

I believe I said the Sea Chickens were the team to beat? Not sure about their character still but a great team. I am hoping we can keep pace with them and let our two games determine the division champ. Talk about the NFC West being weak is just dumb talk. This is the best division in football until someone proves otherwise.

It is the toughest division in the NFL with the toughest schedule of any division which will make it hard to repeat their success both as teams and a division. The NFC west must play itself home and away, the AFC west, NFC east and 2 additional top tier playoff teams in addition to all that. Going to be fun to watch it play out.

Coaches in the NFL usually figure out how to beat the reigning champs if given an offseason to study it. Then some other team creates a wrinkle that gets them over the hump to be new champs.

The more likely "repeat" will be the continuation of SB winners not being able to get back.

I don't even watch pre season. I also never said the 49ers are a class act at this point in history. Many of the NFL players are becoming like the NBA, thugs and criminals!

Man what is up with that?? Just goes to show you can dress a pig up but underneath it's still a pig. Think they are all that because they can throw, catch or dunk a ball. They don't make a little toe on the real hero's who put their lives on the line everyday to protect us or pull our butts out of harms way.

I'll take a wounded warrior over a chest pounding self indulged athlete any day.

Now off of the stump.
