There are plenty of oil resources domestically to bridge all of us to Fusion independence from an energy aspect. The real question is there enough oil to support all of the industrial needs.

You are right - and wrong as usual, Mike.
We know how much oil there is through the new (to you) science of petroleum geology. You are right, that reserves have increased and that there is plenty of it. The latest thinking is that we must not burn it, though. As for the universe? No dinosaurs, no oil.
 
I'm not sure what Putin threats mean, could be cyber attacks, maybe nuclear. If it's nuclear I'll just crawl under my desk...that's what they told me when I was a kid...don't be scared, get under your desk and put your hands over your head.
