Any recommendations in Pa... We go to the Poconos every weekend in the winter.... We ate at Gregory's near the airport one year, it was great...

Our company did part of the work on the highway reconstruction around the airport a few years back, they had a great steak there....It was like...24 or 26 oz steak for 10 or 11 bucks.

Welcome aboard.

What lake do you call home?
A friend of mine bought a cruiser a couple of years ago on Lake St Clair that (as I recall) was named My 3 Sons......any connection. It is a 38 Bayliner

Hi Glen, actually, I'm not the new guy, I've been hanging around about 10 months or so. I Was wondering where changes in attitudes was from myself.
But to answer your question, No relation to the other My 3 Sons on St Clair. The Boat is actually named Captain's Choice. My3sons is just a user name I use for everything boat related.
You posted Lake Huron as your boating grounds, Beautiful there. We traveled through the Trent Severn waterway a few times in the past and spent some time around the islands in Georgian Bay. If you boat in that area, I am definitely jealous.

Sorry I have not responded to all the responses to my new membership. I am just learning were to look for this information. Right now my boat is in heated storage in Bay City, Michigan. Doing a lot of work to get it ready for the upcoming season. During the season I keep it at Caseville, Michigan on the Saginaw Bay, Home of Chesseburger in Caseville, otherwise known as Key North. We plan on making a trip to the North Channel this coming July, heard it is just beautiful up there.

In the meantime stay warm and healthy and Merry Christmas and Happy New year to all. :smt038

Merry Christmas to you! How did the end of your season turn out?

Rod - are you skiing in the Poconos? Camelback? If you are, then I assume you know about the very good, site-made, beer at Barley Creek? Sometimes they have an Oatmeal Stout that is absolutely fantastic!

Dennis,

Already skied 5 days this year a Camelback... Going back on Christmas eve through the New Year... We have been to going to Barley Creek since they opened, and had reasonable prices for food... I will try the Oatmeal Stout next time I go. We had to come back to NJ to shovel the snow. I had about a 4 foot drift on my 340, which is still in the water. The Great Lake Canvas held up, so far... Got the bubbler in to keep the water form freezing... Replaced my pistons and connecting rods in my Westerbeake and I have it all a part in my garage. Got to have a winter boat project... Hope to get to the reassembly in January...

Welcome to CSR from a fellow Great Lakes boater! Lots of knowledgeable people here willing to share too.

All the best this Christmas to you and yours.:smt038
