I hate them jet skis. With a passion you cant imagine. One took off the leg of my 14yo niece a while back. Dont ask.
But if i KNOW i have right of way, i will not deviate one degree from my course to avoid, Fark Em!!! I hate those ignorant bastards.

We have a jet ski. It's a fast phucker and super maneuverable. Not once have any of us have ever cut in front of another boat. Nor have we ever come close to having a collision. It's the operator, not the machine, that is the problem.
 
Those jet ski idiots are brothers to the idiot wind surfers around Hood River, OR. I piloted Beachcomber through that area of the Columbia River several times and it's not uncommon to see 75 or more wind surfers racing around. It's also not uncommon to see them playing chicken with the boats that are passing through.

On one of my trips to Portland we had one particularly obnoxious wind surfer playing chicken with us. We were on plane in about a 3'-4' chop and this one jerkoff decided he wanted me to have to slow down or turn to avoid him. He kept coming at us and only when he was about 50' from our port side did he relent and lay it down in the river.

A good Darwin candidate.

We continued on course and after he had surfaced we watched as he flipped us off.

My one will do 74mph. Same. I don't get in the way of boats.
 
Bigger vessels Always have the rite of way.. not getting into sailboats or anything like that just jet skis and power boats

I was just saying in case new boaters don't know that boats , vessels without power even a 3 foot sail boat has the right of way
 
It would be to easy if everyone got along
 
I meant in general where I boat. That's what the power squadron taught us. Nothing about being in shipping lanes
