I'm not too big on a lot of ink on girls - But know your compass headings....

wrong compass tat ink.jpg

Looks like the artist finally realized the mistake and quit darkening it in on the south side (and I mean east side).

I hate tattoos!

Not only is it incorrect the line work, shading, nevermind it is all terrible. Perfect example of why you don't let drunk friends tattoo you. One of my ex's is a prime example too. I never told her that lol.

I hate tats on girls. Another example of why tats should be reserved for bikers and the like. Just my opinion. Hope this fad will pass soon.

Many decades ago I met a girl with a tatoo. It wasn't to common then. Where there should have been pubic hair she had a tatoo... 'Jackoff'. She thought it was funny. I wonder if she ever regretted that, of course as a 60+yo granny probably no one sees it too often now anyway. It was spelled correctly at least.

Who knows, given a few years, and some sag, maybe the compass will come into alignment....

I have never been into them, have a good friend who had one or two done when he was young, I have rarely seen them, when he entered the business world, he started making sure he kept them covered, he felt they would hinder him, false thought I believe, but unfortunately something he couldn't turn back.

Now the daughter is 18, she keeps trying to push the limits and say she is getting one, the admiral takes the bait every time and fires up. She doesn't push me with it, I just told her I would be disappointed in her if she did.

My oldest daughter Tracy wanted one when she turned 18,

I said OK but let me show you something first.

I took her to our local VFW and showed her all the old farts with faded & unreadable tats.

Thanks Dad, I really don't want one now. :smt001

I'm guessing that the ff fell over and it now reads Jackonn. .

Well I am going to be one on the tattoo side of the fence. The pic posted is shameful on that artist, your right they are permanent. I personally do like tattoos on girls. My wife has three small ones that no one really sees. I myself have on full sleeve complete and halfway through my other full sleeve. Fad or not they are on you forever, just need to make sure you can live with then forever.

As for the comment holding you back from advancing ones career. I think there is some truth there but that is changing. I am a project manager and I keep them covered when I am in out corporate office or in business meetings. When I am out in the field if it's warm out I am in a T shirt and everyone can see them.

It's all personal preference

We often see older women patients with them in our office and they look just awful, really awful. Thankfully our daughter, our son too for that matter, were never interested as I hate to see them, especially beautiful young women wearing low cut evening gowns with tats all over their backs and arms. Really classy! Most interesting, colorful and clever one I ever saw was on a young muscular guy many years ago in the UK. It was a complete picture of a fox hunting scene that covered his whole back. It had the horses (of varied colors), riders in their red jackets etc., the beagle pack was chasing and closing in on the fox whose beautiful brush just disappeared above the guy’s waist line down into his pants...................heading for the fox hole:)

I think small subtle tats can be nice...emphasis on small.... I know it's just an opinion and I respect anyone's decision to do as they like. But, I just cringe when I see a great looking girl with sleeves, tramp stamps, or large tats...On a guy I could care less....

Recently a girl showed me her tat on her thigh.... It was small and cute. She would have to be wearing a real short skirt to see it.... Anyway I thought it was of an arrow pointing in a certain direction....I was like...okay....... Turns out I was wrong and it was a cross...ooops. I guess I kind of was thinking the other way on that.....

A Nurse was on duty in the Emergency Room, when a young woman with purple hair styled into a punk rocker Mohawk, sporting a variety of tattoos, and wearing strange clothing, entered. It was quickly determined that the patient had acute appendicitis, so she was scheduled for immediate surgery. When she was completely dis-robed on the operating table, the staff noticed that her pubic hair had been dyed green, and above it there was a tattoo that read, "Keep off the grass."

Once the surgery was completed, the surgeon wrote a short note on the patient's dressing, which said, "Sorry, had to mow the lawn."

Hahaha that's a good one, cheers!

My 6 year old grand niece told me last week..... If you ever forget which way the "compass clock" goes its Never Eat Soggy Waffles.

I guess this guy missed that day in first grade.

My Wife says:
"Naughty Elephants squirt Water".
She still has a hard time with her left and right. Ugh
