Name of the boat towing is: Ombmacare.

GREAT IDEA. I'll let someone tow me around as long as they want and as long as I don't have to buy THEIR fuel.

Jokes on Ya'll, they are being towed by a Bayliner! :grin:

Just received this in an email.

A lot of folks can't understand how we came to have an oil shortage here in our country. </I></B>
~~~
Well, there's a very simple answer.
~~~
Nobody bothered to check the oil.
~~~
We just didn't know we were getting low.
~~~
The reason for that is purely geographical.
~~~
Our OIL is located in:
~~~
ALASKA
~~~
California
~~~
Coastal Florida
~~~
Coastal Louisiana
~~~

Coastal Alabama

Coastal Mississippi
~~~~
Coastal Texas
~~~
North Dakota
~~~
Wyoming
~~~
Colorado

Kansas

Oklahoma

Pennsylvania

And

Texas

Our dipsticks are located in DC

Any Questions? NO? Didn't think So.

I've run out of gas and I'm not afraid!......Oh, that was the 16 footer. I would not want to row the 270DA. I did row the CV-23 when I broke a drive coupler and it was no fun....and that was only about a mile!,Mike.

It is beaning towed by John Kerry blow boat with a solar panal and a 110 volt fan with a gererator tied on back

Thought so.
Been there, done the exact thing.
Houseboat is the Mothership.
Venture out from there!

Quite the adventure!!!!!

Haven't been down there for about 3 years.
Used to go with 5 other guys and take a Houseboat out of Kentucky Dam Marina for years and then GTB.
Dealt with Gary there until the family started to run things.

Great place to vacation and fish though.

Dan

those boats seem to be too close together under tow?
anyone else think this?

also, i have seen the eye pull right out of a boat before, Be careful!

NO

Let enough scope out and they will not come together unless extreme turns at very slow speeds and docking. Then you let the boat loose and have someone pilot it.

Eye is supposed to support the weight of the boat.
IE: towing, hauling and trailering.

We have been doing this for 25+ years with boats ranging in size from 8' to 23' without ONE problem.

Caveat: Most of our houseboat speeds have been 10 knots or less and fairly flat waters.
Picture is from an area with exact conditions mentioned above.
