I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts& prayers for you and your family. May God give you and your family peace that surpasses all understanding during this time of sorrow.

I had a hard time getting through this thread... in fact I had to take a break and come back. Very moving words about the loss of your loved ones who are surely looking down upon you with great pride. The best tribute to them is living a great life, the right way and never letting their memories fade. My thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathies are with you and your families.

Ken I'm very sorry for your loss also our prayers and toughts to you and your family .Each day gets better but it's the littlest thing that triggers a thought or memory of that loved one that may put a smile on your face or a tear in your eye and a huge tug on your heart that's to let you know there still there with you always and forever . GOD BLESS Ernie

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. What can I say that has not already been said. I am fortunate to have both of my parents still with us, but I know the day will come and I honestly don't know how I will cope with it. Your faith will provide you with the strength.

Dave

Very sorry to hear of your loss. Not sure if you have ever heard of "Fiddler's Green"...if not, check out the following link and it may bring a bit of a bittersweet smile to your face (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiddler's_Green). There is a song named after the idea of Fiddler's Green by a Canadian band called The Tragically Hip. I listen to it often and think of my Dad, who was in the Navy for what turned out to be a big part of his life (he was only 58 when he passed away 14 years ago), and always loved to be on the water. I won't pretend you ever get over the loss, but as others have said, you never lose the memories or the part of you important people in your life became.

I lost my dad two years ago next month very unexpectedly, and three weeks before my wedding.

I understand what you must be going through, and you have my deepest sympathies. Remember the good times, and soon enough you'll smile every time you think of him!

So sorry for your loss!!!! Calm waters for sure!!!! God Bless your family through this difficult time!!!
