I write this teary eyed and heavy hearted unfortunately we don't realise how much we take for granite how long we will have a family member. On Tuesday my father in law of 27 years Alan Maxwell Pyle aka "AMP" passed away from complications from heart surgey 25 minutes into the operation it turned into a life saving trauma he started to hemeriage uncontrollabley. They worked on him for 7 hrs trying to get the bleed under control to no avail he had 14 pints of blood in surgery and another 14 in icu, but atleast we where able to see him and be there with him when he passed. He is the reason i got into boating he taught me how to navigate around Barnegat bay by compass he was also the first person i trusted to go thru the Barnegat inlet of the old days with .He is the first parental loss from either side i can't believe how it hurts,I will cherrish the time i had with him he will be greatly missed.I don't know because of it happing all of a sudden from a surgey that we where told had a 95% chance of coming thru with flying colors that makes it so hard. I have lost a aunt and best friend to cancer it hurt but it seems you knew that the outcome was gonna happen in a short time so i think you have time to prepare for it or that it was a parent but i loved my aunt and friend just as much.well i rattled on long enough coulldn't sleep so thanks for reading i just wanted to share what a great person he was with someone. Atleast when im out on the water i know he's right there with me . "RIP DAD " I Love you and miss you dearly.
