Hello…..I want to deeply apologize for my behavior yesterday on the post that GFC had written about his unfortunate encounter he had yesterday. I have apologized to him in a PM.

It was uncalled for and at times belligerent, all I can say is that my head was in a bad place yesterday. My best friend lost his wife to cancer only days before and it has affected me….and that is not an excuse for my behavior, just where my mind was. I take full responsibility for my behavior and will get back to the good person I know I am.

Having said that, to those who either supported me or remained neutral…Thank you, you have renewed my faith in mankind.

To those of you who continued to beat me down, even after I tried to apologize, I forgive you, as the Lord would want me to do, especially at this time of the year.

I will do more reading and less talking….and will stay away from posts that do not involve boating.

Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year
God Bless America

Great Post Sea Ray 215!. It is posts like these that remind me that no one is perfect and we all say and do things we wish we didn't do. The real men are the ones that admit it.

Have a happy holiday!

New day, new life

Merry Christmas... It takes a big man to admit he is wrong... Often what people write on this site is Tongue in Cheek, and can't be taken a face value... I wish you a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year... And may you gas be inexpensive, your friends be many, your cooler full, and you maintenance problems few...

Well said, and may Santa bring you that coffee cup you've been searching for.

Hang in there, this can be a very rough bunch. But as you spend some time here you will see most if not all the guys on this board are good, decent, honest and willing to help...... they just have strong opinions. I can tell you with 100% assurance that GFC is a class act and a "salt of the earth" kind of guy. I don't agree with him on everything but I respect him and his opinions.

From reading your posts I think you are going to fit in here just fine per my description above, but I do have two words of advice:
1- Stay away from the Holding Tank
2- foursuns sounds like a mean SOB all the time, he is not really mean its just his CSR persona. Don't take anything he says personal.

Remember its winter and most of the guys on the board are getting more frustrated everyday because their boat is in the garage and the water has turned to ice. In the summer they take on a much lighter and sweeter attitude. Which proves the theory that boating is the ultimate stress reliever and good for the soul.

Have a Merry Christmas.

Man, I've had to take my foot out of my mouth many time. Hope I didn't offend you with any of my replies.
We all have strong opinions and on any given day the nerve can be touched off. Hang in there with us. We like somneone who has grit, as you have shown in this thread.

God bless and may the Spirit of Christmas ring though your home this season.
