Congrats on the "locomotive". Go ahead and get ready for leather seat maintenance. I've had my '07 KR for 18 mos and use Leather CPR. Good stuff and easy to use. I do it on the drivers seat and console once a month.

Leather seats are great, they suck in saltwater like a sponge, crack and fall apart. BTW, ford charges about $1000 per seat for new leather. The bottoms alone are $300 for the cover and $100 to put it on. I'm on my second set. Next vehicle is getting plasitic seats. LOL

Nice truck!

I wish they had options on any car for cloth. Most more expensive vehicles only come in leather :-( I know cloth is "cheaper" looking, but I like it so much better.

Hey, you guys want something to keep your leather from cracking, check this out - www.zainobros.com has these 2 items (I'm not in any way affiliated with Zaino, I've only used their stuff for about 10 yrs and it's incredible - on both my cars and boats! Nothing lasts like or works as well or as easily)

Also, their polish is great for keeping the fiberglass from oxidizing - ZAIO, Z2 Pro, and Z5 Pro

I have a GMC truck with leather seats. I treat them with salt water (mis-treat them with saltwater). They need cleaning, but other than that, they look good after 8 years.

My wife's Ford Expedition had leather seats. No salt water added. Had to replace driver seat after about 4 years. We had a local guy do it for about $300 (or less).

I went with the cloth seats on our 350.. Not as hot in the summer or as cold in the winter to me. Plus someone always manages to have a wet bottom after loading up the 240SD.

Leather on my '05 F150. Stopped at the dealer a few weeks back to take a look at the '09's.
Really hard to find a F150 in a Lariat or better trim pkg with a full size bed :smt017

I have cloth seats in my Truck, and it doesn't matter, wet bikini bottoms still soak the seats... We usually put towels on them to keep that from happening, so we're not sitting on wet seats the next few days till they dry out.

Nice try in stimulating the economy, but she didn't arrive. Next?!

It;s bitchin. did they give you 0% financing and do you mind if I ASK....how much?

Does it have the "girly" tail gate step? Just kiddin, it looks like it will haul the mail...or the mail truck!

There's a great place called www.wetokole.com - I had neoprene seat covers made for our Excursion to protect and cover the leather from kids, dogs, wet, etc. They've been great.

On the leather stuff. Many moons ago we bought some leather couch crap at Rooms To Go and they included some lifetime leather treatment stuff. The stuff is great and all you have to do is to walk in and grab a bottle. Every so often you'll get questioned but as long as you are in their computer you're good to go. Not sure what it is but it works great and has actually brought back a few things I thought were FUBAR'd, including a couple of of vehicles. Not sure why anyone would want anything but leather in a car/truck, especially around water?

Thanks for the info on the leather seats.

Have an appointment to get a spray in bed liner this weekend

This was an 08 leftover and the dealer said they had to get it off the lot. Sticker on it was 52K ended up paying 39.5 got 5.5 financing.

Also ordered the new props for the boat...can not wait to see what those 4 blade nibrals will do.

about 55 days and the boat will get splashed.

WHOA........don't be dissing that "man step".........I thought it was goofy on the TV commercials but after using it a couple times it is very functional. It is a $350 option, had I ordered the truck rather then drive it off the showroom floor I wouldn't have gotten it. These '09 Ford F-150s are sweeeeet, this is coming from a life long GM guy............didn't like the looks of the new Chevys one bit.
