I just saved a bunch of money on my boat insurance. Always wants to say that, and I did not go with GEICO either. I used the advice from site members, thank you very much, and went with NBOA. My savings was about a thousand a year. Granted my deductable is higher with this policy, but I make that up with one year’s savings.

Thanks Wes, you beat the private message by about 40 minutes. Not to mix politics in a boating thread but I don’t have to “share the wealth” do I?

Would you settle for a “Merry Christmas”?:grin:
 
Has anyone every actually filed a claim with NBOA? I know that many of us are enjoying lower premiums with NBOA, but that enjoyment will quickly fly out the window if a claim is not promptly and efficiently handled. Anyone with first hand experience?

We at NBOA are committed to our customers, especially when they need us most. We pride ourselves on giving our customers a fast, friendly response to claims. Most of us are boaters ourselves, and we understand the frustration that comes with not being taken care of. I can personally say that we try and bend over backward for each and every customer, espeically Sea Ray owners!

Done! This is amazing. Before I could even log off CSR, I received a phone call from Clyde R. McCleary, NBOA Marine Services (800 248-3512), got a quote and made an easy decision to save $1,100! (based on apples to apples coverage). I'm saving a tad more by dropping the hull value more in line with today's market. Thank you Bill!

Hey that is not fair you big boaters are saving more than us small boaters. I think you need to send a check to us small boaters:lol::smt043:lol:

I wish:thumbsup: How would you like a couple acres of prime mountain land for your vacation cabin. I'm sure we can come to a great deal I just need to be able to purchase that new 290 SunSport and a big enough rig to tow it with. Ye, that's the ticket, lets make a deal. That way we would both be stimulating the economy :grin: Come to think about it nobody would be able to give me a hard time about the Bimini run either, this just keeps getting better and better. :lol:

Called NBOA today and they cut mine by 40% and included towing. The gentlemen ask me how I heard about them and I told him through this site. He kind of chuckled and said he had recieved quite a few inquiries that were members on this site.

RE: Claims experience. I have NBOA for both my 2006 Sea Ray 220 Sundeck and my PWC. I had a claim in 2007 on the PWC. I could not be more satisified with the service, speed and fairness in resolving the claim. I cannot speak for how well they handle boat claims (and I hope I will never need to!) but if the PWC experience is typical, you cannot beat NBOA! :thumbsup:
