Do not delay, your life is more important than anyone's panel.
To be honest with you guys I am so scared of a trend starting of me not being reliable I am willing to risk my health to make sure that my customers are taken care of. At this point, being able to provide for my family is worth ANYTHING. I know this might sound stupid, and I agree but I will not jeopardize my families well being for anything, if they admit me, I could be in the hospital for a week, imagine what the people who think I am a scammer would do then. I will not risk that at any cost. I know a lot of you believe in me, for 5 years I never missed a deadline and always delivered, I now have to get back to this point and will do anything at any cost. My left eye has lost some level of sight, I know this and my ability to type and speak properly is also been effected, but as long as I can build my panels and get them shipped I will continue, all fyou positive thoughts have made me feel better, they really have, without them, I don't know what I would do, some of you have never even dealt with me professionally but yet you still give me the benifit of the doubt, that makes me feel great and give me the drive to do whatever it takes. No matter what, some day soon everyone will say that you can count on me and that is all that matters.
Scotty - Hey buddy you mentioned you had someone who could cut the piece I was looking for - that is why I asked. I did not think you were doing it.. You can have your guy cut it with a hack saw for all I care, I will put it on another cnc machine and trim it, the size I gave was over the amount I need.
Board members - someone said I was not compassionate. Hardly - I thought someone else was doing this work and I made it dead nuts simple so anyone could do it. I get Scott is banged up and will continue to support his business I just need to make what I need fit his business right now. I am a small business owner and I want him to have the revenue. I get small business.

Scott,
This is foolish. I am in the Medical field and you could have something very serious. How do you think your family will be affected if you are dead??
And how about all of those tools calling you unreliable now? What do you think they will say when you die and don't get those last couple projects out? You won't even be here to defend yourself. This may sound harsh but, this is reality.
Take care of yourself and everything else will work itself out!!!
Go to the Doctor!!!!!
Scott, update us when you can.. Thoughts and prayers from us, MM
Don't kill yourself Scott, take a few days off and heal. The customers worth having will understand, the ones that don't, screw 'em.
OK, I have withheld comment until now because I had not received my final panel from Scott. I received the panel last Thursday and installed it this weekend.
I contacted Scott in December about making a custom panel to house a new VHF Radio but also have a blanked off gauge cutout for a future Merc Monitor. My goal was to make the most of the little amount of space us 280DA owners have at the helm for “extras”. Scott and I went back and forth about what the panel should look like and I had emailed him some pictures of the helm holding up a tape measure. He completed the final drawing and sent it to me to measure. I approved what turned out being a simple but effective design. During this time he had some complications that have already been discussed here. After these issues were resolved I received my initial panel in late January.
I received my first panel in January and the blank for the gauge was missing and probably fell out of the box as it had some damage. I also noticed that I had been too conservative with one the measurements and discovered the panel was going to barely fit the gauge and still look “correct”. After some discussions with Scott, and even though I had approved the design before he cut and shipped the panel, he insisted on re-cutting the entire panel, adding a half inch to the side, free of charge.
I installed the new radio and panel over the weekend and I think it looks great. I will post some pics of it in the next few days. The quality was very high and attention to detail was right on.
I just wanted to post my experience with Scott since there has been so much discussion about him here. Yes, there were some communication problems and yes, the panel was not done when he originally promised but he followed through on everything and even went the extra mile to re-cut the panel when I had approved the measurements he came up with.
For what it is worth, I contacted two of the other popular panel makers for a quote (no names mentioned). One of them I talked with initially and then could never get them to call me back and the other one that guarantees “no more than 24 hour contact” on their website never even replied to my detailed inquiry. So, Scott may have some communication issues going on right now but he is not the only one.
Bottom line, many have recommended him before me and I would recommend him as well now. As others have said his turnaround is not extremely quick but his dedication and quality seem to be right on.
