looks like Fay is going to hit us, the only question is wether she will be a tropical storm or a full blown hurricane.:smt089
So with that said whats on you're prep list.
I started yesterday with firing up the generator to make sure it works and loading up on 26 gallons of gas in my gas caddy (gas stations ran out of gas 24 hours before the 2004 storms ever hit). the boat is all fully fueled just in case I need a backup source.
this evening the canvas will come down off the boat and the boat will get tied to the lift along with the cockpit cover being ducktaped along the edges to prevent the wind from getting under it.
Once thats done it will be time to break out the storm shutters and prep the house for the highwinds.
whats on your list?
