How to use NoFlex Digestor

Are you all still having to replace your filters annually?
My filter is at least 4 years old and no smell. I have been using No-Flex for 3 years now and have no complaints. I should add that we have pumpouts right at our dock and I don't let it get to the "Do Not Flush" mark.

I have never had to change your filter unless i overfilled the tank and got water and all the contaminants in it.

After a full season of using NoFlex I was finally able to get the green light to appear after my last pump out. Would only go to yellow light before.
Its the little things but man was I excited!!

Nice!
If you want to super charge it then check out Tank Teria. It’s supposed to compliment the Noflex. Not sure if it does and not looking to stick my head in there to see what’s going on, but I’ve been adding a tablet to my 40 gallon waste tank after every pump out.
Now if you really want to get crazy give Noflex a try in your shower sump too! A teaspoon or so every once in a while throughout the season and it stays pretty clean in the sump.
Just sure to flush it through the line with water so it dilutes and gets all the way through there.
Switched to body wash instead of soap and been adding Noflex to my sumps and no more crappy build up.

I just did this last weekend. I purchased a 40 oz jug of charcoal for $13 (new filters were $85) and I have enough for another 4 years (approx.) Took of my old filter, dumped it out, put in SS screens (Lint catches, doubled up and cut to fit, Home Depot for $3.50) and refilled it. Then labeled it with date of recharge and maintenance. I have a brother label maker and label everything I service as well as keeping a log. Why? As a reminder.

Making the switch from Bar Soap to Body Wash helps with the sumps a lot too. One of the best tips I ever got on here.

I want to do that as well, however, the wife MUST use her DOVE bar and will not heed my advice. :(

+1 on the Tank Teria. I use it just to make sure there are plenty of the happy bacteria in the tank. Not an odor all year. And no filter. Not required.
