I don't like taking the boat out out unless it's at least a 1+ hour run somewhere...

I would say my average is 1-2 hours for weekend stuff but when cruising, it's usually 5-6 hours/day....

I read a story online of one guy that went out on his Sea Ray for a month. He did this in 2007 and 2008. :smt038

I wonder if he is going to do it again in 2009? :smt017

He should write a book. :smt115

Sorry, I did not vote. We head out to so many different destinations.
Sunset beach = 1 miles one time.
Nipple Beach = 35 miles next time.
Columbia park = 15 miles the next time.
Many other locations as well. No pattern.

Any place named "Nipple Beach' :wow::wow: is worth going regardless of the ETA. :smt038

Pawtuxet Cove to Block Island....

Just under two hours, one hour 50 minutes if conditions are ideal.

1.5 to 2 hours to get to Catalina, depending on which cove we go to...

That's a trip I want to make. I'd love to drag this boat down there, have my Admrial, kids and I meet up with my Father and Brother in law and head out there.

We mostly hang out on the Columbia river with quite a few islands. The one we mostly use now is 30 minutes away from our morage.

Soon we really want to hit the San Juans, as Todd noted a great place to cruise.

Spot

Usually: Gig Harbor, WA. 25 min run from my Dock. We've already done that for a few weekends this year. Nice sunsets, and great place to watch boats!
Once per year: 5 hour run to the San Juans for a week of max 30 min island-hop cruises. Can't wait!
