Horn

petern, It was pretty easy on a 380 as there are multiple wire runs from the helm up to the arch. I am not familar with your model. Maybe someone else can chime in. But I can suggest that you start at the helm and work your way to where you want to mount them. There should be a wire run for arch lights, Nav lights already in place.

many thanks, i'll try it. the wire runs are loaded/coated with sealant. I guess I'd have to drill a small hole, and re_caulk. very easy to do, just want to avoid a dumb mistake.....

SR ditched the duck and went back to a normal horn.
Thank Goodness. I hope I had something to do with that with my constant complaining here about those sorry excuses for horns they had the nerve to put in their 100K + cruisers. A 340DA? One of SR's best? That boat deserves a real horn. Skip the replacement as I'm sure they also suck and get some type of air horn. I real horn for a real boat. I did, and now I'm not afraid to actually use my horn for fear of ridicule.

The horn is a Signal Tone, part #51860 MID - Stainless steel grill.

B&E Marine has it for $26, their stock number is 1223549.

If you can't find it locally, I'd be happy to buy it for you and ship it, provided you pay for the paypal fees (a dollar or two) plus parts, tax and shipping. PM me if I can help.

Man, that is very nice of you to offer. I will let you know if I cannot find it locally. I greatly appreciate your help.
