Interested as well... I have two large ones, but would love a small 1000/2000. They are sooooo quiet and tiny... Great for many things( non marine use of coarse...)

I was about to buy a 2000 but I'll wait to see what your price is. Can't say I wouldn't use it on the boat on rare ocations (CO detectors included) but mostly for work.

I've been racking my brain trying to think of what I could use a portable generator for....What are some of you guys planning to do with them, if not for marine use? I've never been one to pass up a good deal, but I have to be able to justify it.

I have a problem with buying things that I don't need but might need.........

Sometimes I end up being glad I did. :grin:

I use mine off the back of my pick up and go to ends of my yard and cut hedges, blackberry bushes, etc with the electric hedge trimmer and chain saw.

You could take it camping but I camp at Holiday Inn and other name brand hotel/motels these days... :thumbsup:

I bought mine off Craigslist by posting a want ad... took a week and I bought an almost new one with gas in it and a waterproof cover for $500. Not sure if it was stolen or not... I failed to ask... :huh:
