I wished I could provide those details. I had another issue which ended up being a warranty issue from the marina so I asked them to look at the genset. After telling them what I had done, they said it was one of four things....capacitor, stator...and I can't remember the other two. He said the capacitor is easy to check and when they saw the rub, was pretty confident that was going to be it.
He first confirmed I was getting 12 volts and he said after that, it should measure 110, I guess there is some transfer of power. He said it didn't measure anything so he knew it was the capacitor. $20 part. Ran the genset for 2-3 hours today, good to have AC again.
