Help Needed - Ubnable to delete pictures from File Upload Manager

I have numerous files in the Upload Manager that have been there for years that I cannot Delete. According to the Manage the files should have been deleted automatically if not used within the hour. Not the case with my file manager, any ideas?

I have exactly the same problem. Spent hours trying to figure different ways to delete the files and finally gave up.
Hopefully someone has the answer.
