Trying to help a buddy find dockage for his 61' Trawler and I thought this would be fun....?

I can't believe the prices....

He was quoted in the rage of $2400 + $400 electricity/month in North Palm Beach for April. I think it goes down a little in May...

He wants to live aboard with his wife somewhere between North Palm and Miami. Needs to be dog friendly and safe.

Anything less than $2 Million/year out there?

Thanks for any help you can give.

300 views and no recommendations....must just be this expensive down there or the Florida boaters are out on the water...

It is just that expensive down there. We are in Ft. Pierce which is quite a bit less expensive but anything in S. FL is high. You wanna play with the big dogs, its gonna cost !

I once looked at buying a boat in Florida in 2004. The boat I looked at was at a private dock on a cannal behind a house that the owner had a doc but did not have a boat. I was told they paid half of what the marinas charged but it was still 750 a month boat was 48 overall lenghth

My slip is no frills and $485 a month plus electricity in northern Florida. . At least it's on fresh water though.

South Florida is crazy!

Thanks for the tips guys. I'll tell my buddy to be prepared to pay!
